Lexus IS 350 F Sport
Okay, finally got the correct story on the lights - not Bixenon or Hids, so I am re-evaluating the go or no go on the original target car. They do have a Black/Black car with the same configuration with only 11k miles on it, and now if I buy, I may consider that one over the Palladium Silver car. i will scout around for another week though.
Good luck with your search/buy !!

LOL!, Thanks, yes I do miss my C300's lights, they were halogen but they were positioned very well and did light up the road pretty good. The pointing on the E-class (2010s), don't do the lights any favors. I did investigate getting an additional set of headlamps and sending them off to one off those shops that will convert your headlamps to HIDs. Some even will convert them to Bi-Xenons, but I wonder how well that works without the lense cleaning?

Did some research on the car with the most options and miles and it has somewhat of a mysterious past with respect to ownership. Original owner sold to second owner via private sale, then second owner sold/traded it in to a dealer. All within a year. That car would cost another $3k to get it with the amount of warranty coverage that would make me comfortable. Whereas the other cars all have that covered already being CPO. So it is definitely looking like one of the cars with the lower mileage are still in the running.

Just received some information on a 2013 E350 available and within the price range before the start of negotiations. I will be talking to the dealer tomorrow about that car. Only 8K miles on it, same features as the 2012s, plus Keyless go, even though it is a P1.

OK, well, I just purchased a CPO 2012 E350W4, P2, with Parking guidance, Lane assist package, PANO Roof, etc. Arctic White. Only 12k miles. Car is clean and runs fine. $46k

yeah LOL! Thanks A bunch!
I gotta go back in on Monday to get them to switch the tires from my former 2010 onto my current 2012. I think my Pirelli PZeros have more tread left and are a better tire for cornering than the ContiPros?

P-Zero's are a better sports tire but they match horridly with the W212 chassis. Mine were very rough an loud on my 2010. My 2011's Conti's were a decent improvement in both those areas. I appropriately drove my E's like a granny so can't say how my 2 212's compared in "grip". I have P-Zero's on my Bimmer now and they seem to work perfectly on this chassis, so I think it was just an ill fit on the 212's.
Congrats on the new whip.

The Contis are a bit quieter but their tread depth is really shallow. The PZeros on my 2010 were actually quieter than they are on the 2012, but the road grip is so much better than the Contis. If they get too loud for me later, I will just purchase Conti extremes and go from there.
