Yep, the wagon does look good IMHO. Much more balanced looking than the sedan or coupe.

@JingerE Dealers are always given wiggle room to negotiate deals. Some dealers knock as much as 5 grand off, depending on the car.

Agree with both of those. In person it isn't as brash, but that isn't saying it isn't brash, just less so than how pics seem to portray it. The 212 is one of the only cars ever where I think the Wagon version looks more balanced and "together" than the Sedan version.

Man, you have no idea! I got $10K off of my E350 in 2011. People have reported getting $14++K off W212 E's, these are the highest discounted cars I've ever seen. Seems like they're being tight with the facelift though, which will inevitably change (hopefully not and they can stop making a mockery of their MSRP's), as usual early adopters will pay a premium to get those (been there, my 2010/first W212 I "only" got $4-5K off of when it was in its first production year, but it was worth it for those few months where people acted as if I was driving a Ferrari in certain reactions, however this was when the ENTIRE W212 was a new body so it was very alien and different for a Benz looking).

The 2014 owners manuals are now available on MBUSA and they make no mention of headlight washers. I guess the new MB headlights never get dirty ??

Great choice with the lighting package! Saw a coworker head out in a sport one without the light package. Thing looks like a VW Passat. Rear is much more aggressive but I'm just not into that front unless it's got the light package.

Easy now. Take a look at what's in the trunk of a 7-Series or S-Class today. At least the S-Class is in run-out; the 7 still has another year or two! Since you have your finger on the BMW pulse now, how are the discounts on 3er coupes these days?

At any rate, the same discounting will happen with the 5er when it transitions. Volume objectives are high, and BMW USA certainly doesn't want to be in 2nd place to MBUSA.

Even taking those into consideration, considering the E's price range, I've never seen a car discounted more than it. The 3 Coupe is on its last year on an old chassis with a new chassis running alongside it, and I'm sure you can't get 20++% off them as easily as you can a W212.

Believe me, the 5er isn't getting near the discounts as the W212 did, even 1-2 years into its (W212) production cycle. BOTH my 2010 and 2011 E's were discounted far more heavily than my F10 and I'll guarantee you'll have trouble finding anybody who got a better deal on their 5er than I did (fact is, nobody's getting 20+% discounts like cakewalk on a 5er), and that's taking into consideration my car has a much higher MSRP than my E's did.

As for the 7's and S's, those are much more expensive cars so high discounts is kind of par for the course.

I don't like the fact that they've been practically giving away the E's, even if I did get to take advantage of it. I feel the car deserves better, so just calling it like I've seen it time and time again.

If you shop around and are patient, you can get large discounts on most cars, especially new cars in general - unless they are really hot sellers and the dealers do not have very many in stock. If one goes to the best selling dealer within 100 miles, you will get large discounts or get an offer that will potentially make your local dealer take more off. The SoCAL market is an incredibly competitive and so you have a lot of large scale dealers and so big discounts there and say the larger cities in Texas are the norm. As long as your willing.

Only the sport/amg pkg look is passive. I jus saw the regular verison of the e sedan. It looks awkward without the mb emblem on the grill..it kinda reminds me of toyota corrola (older model) or the hyundai mb wannabe sedan that ive seen on the streets

Since the 2010-2013 sedan e350 looks better than the coupe. Its only right that they make the coupe looks better than sedan this time.

Anybody that says the 2014 E350 Sport is ugly should be kicked off the site. That car is Nasty !!!! Anyone that disagrees has no sense of style whatsoever...Its a thing of beauty inside and out, and Its not up for debate........
