@jdhoang Not much budging on these. The better deals are going to be found on the 2013. Dealer Was able to knock off a couple grand off the car, but that's a pretty normal practice. I believe they have 36-month specials right now.
@BM2BZ will try to!

Warning. IMHO (I can not believe myself for saying that) KA's assessment of E-class restyle is almost 100% - it looks horrible (again IMO) live (both inside, especially for 350s and out, especially for "luxury"). IMO, redesign works much, much better on E coupe than E sedan. Yes, I have not seen E coupe live (who has?) but judging from the pictures of coupe and sedan side by side, I can see what looks out of place on the sedan (horrible front grille both sport and luxury) apperas to be executed to perfection on a coupe.

The luxury front end is more in tune with the new W222 S-Class. I think when all is said and done, the C through S will be more in the mold of BMW's and Audi's small, medium, and large (3,5,7 and A4, A6, A8 respectively). This is just my opinion, but, I think MB is going for the small medium, large paradigm. The face lifts are a transitional design queue that will likely not be fully realized until the "all new" C and E class vehicles are released. The new W222 looks great to me. It is not so different that I am wanting to trade my W221, but, it does show where MB is heading. Again, just my 2 cents.

Looks awesome. I hate my '12, everything about it. Even after putting on 19's and H&R springs. From that **** white they call Arctic White, the ugly crystal headlights that look like an aftermarket set you'd buy for a late 90's Honda, to the way the thing drives like a boat.
The re-design helps it look sporty and not like something I see in the parking lot of a senior community center.
I've come to terms with it & can't wait to get rid of this thing once my lease is coming close to an end. Just being honest.

I can see people not liking the new body of the E.....I myself had a chance to see one today and although it was a bit awkward, it is slightly appealing....even got to sit inside and see it drive away: as in motion can help too....
there are some pretty weird design aspects when you get up close to the car and you wonder...."hmmmmm, why'd they do that?"
the inside of the car seems a little fresher to me......the steering wheel was tiny, but much thicker, the clock was in the middle, but no IWC.....
etc......
but all in all it wasn't too bad

Thanks for your opinion. Not! Dude just bought a new car that's not cheap, likes it a lot, and you invade his post saying he just bought a piece of crap. If you want to drop your knowledge in KA's post thats fine. Dont come here with that crap. As an owner of a '12 E550 I like the new style and have ordered an E63 S to come. Now the waiting game.
not to be rude, but after you spend some more time here you'll see many people come in and out of different threads and post feeling that they feel are relevant to the topic at hand, and yeah, sometimes threads go off the rails and get sidetracked......also part of the fun.....
again, not trying to start ish here....as the saying goes "just sayin"
I also had 2 W212's for a bitbut I didn't get P30 on my first AMG so I had to do it again......with the cls
I think it bugs me that the new E will have an S in the badge.......like we all don't know it romps more and it sportier
planning on some HRE's?

part of the 'joy' in the forums: other people expressing their feelings.......

@Mbenz260e thank you!
I really didnt know there would be so many mixed feelings about the car. I read through KA's review and disagreed with a lot of it. Maybe i'm being biased because i own the car, i dont know.

Sounds like you need a completely different car.
O/P on the other hand seems like he got exactly what he wanted, so congrats on that.

Be happy that it's generating such polarizing reviews, at least since you're Leasing it (i.e aren't "stuck with it" if it just doesn't age well). You basically got the effect of a brand new design for a mere facelift. Of course that comes on the shoulders of those who got the pre-facelift expecting a luxury manufacturer to not very exposed-ly look like they tried to change as much about the original car that they could. But that ain't your problem.

I really don't know about the new front.. Something says preface lift front gives it a more aggressive stance on the road? This just looks like a beefed up C-class like people are saying.. Is it just me or does anybody agree with me???

All of the debate about facelift versus pre-facelift...this is all just a matter of personal taste and preference. The 2014 will appeal to some, not so much to others. Personally I think the pre '14 version's front end looks more sporty, aggressive and traditional but I can see where the new look will appeal to a lot of buyers, and thats the name of the game after all. I would also say that the new star grill is MB's response to all of the aftermarket replacements that look pretty much like the new look.
To call the new look things like "horrible" is a little over the top. Keep it in persective. The new car looks great...enjoy!

I have to see it in person to decide for myself. So far I don't like it at all.
It doesnt feel and look like a mercedes, it can pass for a kia..

Having seen a couple facelift cars at the dealer, I can say IMO it is not as loud in person as it is in pics.
I think it works better on the wagon - my eyes see the curve of the rear on that matching with the softer front, where the rear of the sedan still seems too angular.

Congrats on the new ride.
I checked out a 2014 E350 sport (steel gray on black) yesterday and absolutely love it.
For me, it's the best looking E-series since my '97, inside and out.
I just might like it enough to place an order after 12 years of driving BMW....
Beauty is in the brain, not the car.
