yyz do you know if there is a high pressure washing system on the new e with either of the lighting packages..also i thought the nappa leather for Canadian cars was unavailable until later..I have an e550 on the boat now so should have it in a few weeks but when I placed the order nappa wasn't available

Sorry, no idea on what MBUSA is up to with respect to offering U09 - I did hear that power folding mirrors are now standard though. Perhaps someone with a 2014 E can verify.

I thought folding Mirrors were standard on all non-USA cars. Hmmm, I don't think they have them on the USA cars, bbut anyone on the forum that has a US 2014 E-class let us know?

Power folding mirrors will not be available in US according to my dealer and MB corporate on the 2014 E class. I had a corporate tech specialist confirm that my PFM's work when my 2010 e350 was flashed with Canadian SW, but under US build they can only be manually powered and not through the COMAND systems.
This is MB conscious decision for E class vehicles in US since 2010 that I know of and continues into the 2014 model year. I've read the 2014 owner's manuals and they confirm US does not get them.

Samking, wouldn't the option just need to be turned on in the IC? (i.e. use the older version of DAS/XENTRY that does not require the authorization from the MBDe to turn on options?)

Between Indy shops and all the way up to corporate MB tech specialist, my PFM'S are just not working the way factory units would.
I'm moving on to another E class soon, and I'm giving up on the PFM's (for now).

Sounds like more of a challenge. I guess with MBenzL offering to get one's datacard modified,, one would have to also get the appropriate passwords to get into the correct menu.

I agree 100%. I first saw it in the A-Class and it belongs in an A-Class, it isnt even C-class worthy.
It reminds me of the Climate Controls in the CLS. You have a Classy car and everything is top notch but then they throw in this one cheap part that totally undermines the overall class of the vehicle.
