Out driving my W212 today and......
......Well, I just happened to bump into the 2013 F-Type! WOW!!!!!
This one happened to be a V8 and was priced around the 103 range.....
It is very very nice! Something to seriously consider you know?
The start-up sound is like no other and really is addictive! Not to mention
the close to 500hp the thing puts down.....
I didn't get a chance to drive it today, but will be going back SOON
any thoughts? besides from KA?? Just kidding KA haha

I really am not a Jag person but the new F-Type looks great. But +1 about the rotors.

the V8's have the twin duel exhaust and the V6 has the single twin in the center.......have not seen the 6 in person, I'd be getting the bottom model even without the S packjust something to tide me over until the next urgeif it even plays out

funny, I saw a red F-Type in Jersey City today on a transport. It was fully wrapped but I can tell it was the new F-Type V8. It seems that a lot of people are loving this car. For the price, it's a great ride.

Lol. Well since you asked.
I think this car is gonna further the rejuvenation of the Jaguar brand. Seems to be getting lots of love.
These types of cars aren't really my thing, especially because I don't like Verts and I'm really tall, but I think the front is stunning and the rear/sides not as much. That last pic really reminds me of a BMW Z8 actually (the whole thing does actually after looking at those pics).
I hope it'll be a success as I'd like to see Jag start kicking some butt and providing variety from the dominating Germans in the Luxury scene.

Jaguar has finally made a properly sporty car , I hate newer Jags but that one is the only exception lol
Another good thing , there is no stupid rising gear selector same as other Jags and post 2012 Land Rovers

I think the F type is a beautiful car. Probably one of the prettiest cars out there. I actually looked at one, but it's not quite ready for prime time. However they are on the right track. Their biggest challenge is depreciation plus they have a long way to go to catch up to the capabilities of Porsche.
If someone wants a pretty car for the wife as little cruiser it's hard to beat. The same applies to their sedans. Have you ever seen a better looking car? But it just doesn't sell.

Jag seems to be putting a more modern and sportier spin on this car, and seems to have gotten an all around positive reception so far.
Startup sounds great Hyp, keep us in the loop as far as your purchase. + pics or it didn't happen!

A visual stunner, but have they fixed their durability yet? I still have reservations on long life and depreciation. Also, not too many on the roads as yet ... but going in the right direction for sure!

How about a new Maserati Ghilbi?
Here is a quote from autoblog:
The more powerful Ghibli was just as balanced as its sibling in the corners, but it possessed additional talent. As promised, the S Q4 acted like a rear-wheel-drive sedan until its tires had reached their limit, and only then did the driveline funnel power to the front wheels. The transition was seamless, but I could feel the front end start to gently grab and lend its helping hand. Under deceleration, the transmission instinctively downshifted (with a nice bark from the exhaust) providing a near-perfect ratio for the exit. The overall result was effortlessly blistering cornering speeds, superb balance and a fun-to-drive quotient unmatched by the Audi S6/S7, BMW 550i and Mercedes-Benz E550/CLS550.

Ghibli will likely be the top runner to pit against my current car when my Lease is up.
I think it looks kinda clumsy and like a Dodge with a Maserati suit on (and the interior is a straight up Chrysler 300 joke barely even trying to make you believe it's "Italian"), but I'm quite enticed by it, especially after reading the reviews on its dynamics (The "S" is a must apparently).
Considering the looks and cars which it's strongly based on both inside and out, it'll be some next-level badge-***** attraction. However, if it drives like they say it does.... it just might have some substance to it.

Look are always subjective - I like the pictures but would need to see one in person.
