Again, GET EDUCATED on newer BMW's and don't simply project your baseless hatred or jealousy of them with blatant misinformation. I'm not even charging you for these classes. Watch and learn:

LOL that's a power brake not a proper burnout (mash the gas and get the car wildly sideways), sorry, try again. Do you know anything about cars? I said a 535i could do a burnout, simple factual statement, sorry if it struck some competitive complex you store. You're the only one with a chip on your shoulder here.

I use to like BMWs but new ones are disaster in my mind and I driven many new BMWs; they lost their essence - lost why BMW was a BMW. They are becoming hate to say this, "lexus" or comfortable no matter what model it is. It has been said all over by owners, magazines, blogs and urs Truly Phalen302

Sir - you should roll back and look at the touting language in your posts. The title of the post "Heres one for K-A" says it all. These forums are good sport.

Otherwise I do truly understand and respect your sentiment. The F chassis Bimmers are major changes.... to some for the worse and to some for much better.

Wait are you talking about Sport VS non Sport MODELS? I'm talking about switch modes. The Sport Switch Modes/Settings ARE very different and racing-heritage-inspired from one another, Sport PACKAGES are mostly marketing now however. Not fully though as you can only get the mechanical M suspension on 2013+ M Sport models which is the most "BMW like" setup and is a frankly SUPERB dynamic suspension that does everything well, be it super smooth comfort or tight and connected handling. Other than that the only other performance option is Sport Auto tranny which makes the tranny more aggressive.

Yes - read my first post. Again your verbal garbage has proved nothing that "sport" has any advantage over non sport (performance improvement) and have admitted that Sport is a marketing gimmick.
I rest my case.

I don't think you're comprehending the subject matters here or simply have a big reading comprehension issue, just as you couldn't comprehend the difference between a proper sideways burnout and generic/simple/anyone-can-do-it peg-leg powerbrake (or that priceless comment about a "40 MPH burnout" )

Breaking tires loose at 5 MPH in a way to get the rear violently sideways and continuously spinning is NOT an easy task. The E350 sure can't do it, the C300 can't as you hilariously pointed out following your own comment about "5 MPH burnouts" when that was clearly a no-brainer 0 MPH power brake (hello Rental Corolla style), yet the 535i in its SPORT + mode can without a sweat.
It makes over 320-330 peak crank torque at an astounding 1,200 RPM's and holds it throughout the powerband (grossly underrated especially in torque as dyno's and track times have proven), which is the logistical reason as to why it can do such awesome burnouts. Do you realize how impressive that is for an I6 that's smooth as silk and gets over 33 MPG on the highway? Of course not, you epitomize the word "hater" on the cars.

"Faster"? That isn't the point, BMW's Sport Mode transforms the entire character of the car and allows you full control of the paddles, unlike MB's "did anything even change" "Sport" marketing mode or your E65's comparably non existent modes.

"Sport" across the broad is a marketing term.

Your verbal garbage has proved no real "performance improvement" (only imaginary ones) and your reading/comprehension skills have turned out to be well.... does not exist. Get a life Sir and may be, take a reading class.
Don't be jealous of that C300 burning rubber (saying in a sarcastic way so you can understand)

K-A now your 535i is track ready. Burn outs none the less. BMW has supplied you with a rare model to reward your well deserved loyalty.
My CLS 4Matic can't do burn outs but it certainly blows the doors off 535's at red lights. Every time I do it, it amuses me so.

How the hell can I comprehend what you say when your writing and punctuation are incoherent and nonsensical and your responses to factual and experienced breakdowns are akin to a child covering their ears screaming "LALALAA I DON'T HEAR YOUU, I WANT TO HATE IT BECAUSE I JUST WANT TO AND THINK IN MY LITTLE BOX SO I WILL, LALALAAAA".

I always wonder why BMW folks with sport packages always have to prove that they got something special.

Phalen: Your argument it's weak, your wit soft, your experience lacking, your open mindedness to learn non existent, but I admire your tenacity as it looks as if I've met my match in that regard.

Yes I've driven the crap out of a CLS. Powerful it is but I found it lacking in many other respects.
