The deal was for purchase not lease.
I have heard from others that So Cal dealers were offering even better deals ($10,000 off MSRP).

I got 9% off MSRP and fair to good trade-in value for my '09 Infiniti. Took some work, and only one stealership in the local area was willing to negotiate, the rest were fixed on about $500-1000 off MSRP, case closed. My car was ordered and took 6 weeks to get here. I used a costco discount ($700 off) as well, and made them throw in weathertech floor mats.

I WALK...
Looking at a 2014 E350 with 61k MSRP, $610/month (CA tax included) for 27 months, 12k miles a year. $1500 at drive off (includes first month payment, registration, and few hundred dollars of fees)

You guys think I can do better? Seems like there are better deals out there? Car is on the Lot of the dealer.

You can do way better. They blow these cars out especially with shorter leases (which should have artificially supremely high residuals. Keep looking, or wait a month or so so the "novelty" of the facelift wears off (which equals better discounts).

Although not an E-Class, I've had two dealers make opening offers of over 12% off on 2014 CLS 550's. Discounts are common on BMW's as well.

I just secured a 2014 E350 4Matic one pay lease for 27 months / 12K miles per year for $18K all in. The MSRP is $63,630. Plus turned in current 2011 lease with 4 months remaining and received 2 year prepaid maintenance.

I read the holdbacks for October were the same as September. 5k for purchase and 3K for lease.
