Plus 1 wheel size for my MB

Hi everybody,
Just registered to this forum and as new owner of my first MB certainly have questions- let's start with wheels/tires. First of all what do I have- 2010 E350 4Matic sedan sport package with 18 inch wheels-beautiful car. I would like to keep current wheels/tires (19 x 8-? 245/40R18 with offset 43 mm I believe) for winter (I am in Toronto area, Canada) and to buy 19 inch wheels- for summer. What is confusing me a bit- whether 19 inch wheel/tires will fit front of my car (with rear- no problem- a lot of inner space). I know that for 19x8.5 wheels I should use 245/35R19 tires but not sure regarding offset. Right now inner clearance is pretty small (I can see it) but with wheels/tires I mentioned and offset 45 mm (for example for Vossen CV1) inner space will be 8 mm less ( as per offset calculator)
Any advice/experience to share on this matter?
Thanks, Yuri

get OE 19" AMG
the best choice , anything > 19" and your lost your warranty

Thanks for reply, just to clarify-
for sport package ( it seems a bit lower than standard sedan) any offset will fit front for 19 inch wheel? Do you know by chance 19 inch AMG wheel offset?

dont know about AMG 19" but AMG 18" are ET 48 front ET 54 rear
i installed 10MM spacers both front rear on OE AMG 18" and they cleared it out
19" wheels should be the perfect balance ( +1 size ) for OE sport suspension ( not lowered )

Thanks- will give it a try :)

Yuri, I'm in toronto as well and have a 2014 E350 on order (Nov delivery).. I am also considering the same thing as you.. keep 18" for winter and get some summer shoes ! Let me know if you find any good shops for wheels.. I checked on mbusa.com and they have 19" AMG wheels.. I may ask the dealer for a quote on those.. as that will be to spec and wont have any issues. take care

As per my knowledge AMG wheels 19 inch from MB dealership will cost you 1200+ for piece- a bit expensive frankly to me:) It's (I mean wheels) all personal but what I saw and more or less like- Mandrus Mannheim (gunmetal) or Vossen CV1 (black) But stuck with offset issue as my car as I mentioned with sport package is pretty low Not sure regarding front inner clearance for 19 inch wheels
