Ready to by my first E class

I am very excited, i was just approved for a car loan so now I can look at a MB e class with confidents.

I am interested in getting a 2010 e class because, its in my budget.

Do you know if they will have a drastic change anytime soon?

Is there anything in general that I Should look for. I noticed the ML but I think the E class is sexier. The C class looks small and makes me feel like if I get it, i would regret i didnt get the E class.

The approval will expire 10/09. That doesnt give me much time.

I orginally wanted the x5 2009, untill i test drove it. wow it was heavy.

I currently have a 2012 nissan altima and i wanted to get something nicer.

You are going to buy E class. Well, I can tell you it will be E class! You'll love it.

http://www.nationalpunctuationday.com/ was yesterday...

the 2014 E class just got a make over, so the next major update will likely be the 2017 model year.

C class is smaller than your Altima.

You'll love a 2010 E.

Count me as one of those members. At least I didn't make fun of the fact that after 2 months someone who is looking at an E-class is just glad they got approved for a car loan to buy that sexy beast. Maybe it's the sheer amount of contrast between an "executive class vehicle" and "ready to by with confidents now that my car loan is approved", maybe it's just me being a total douche.

Thats what I wanted to point out.

Thats the only correct statement you have made in this thread.

OP I would say stick with the 2014 if you want the latest and greatest. But if you go with that 2012 that price has to some way down.

GregTR 09-26-2013 11:40 AM

I really don't know if @USCGTO and @Tjdehya are experts at sarcasm and the joke's on me or they just don't know how to spell "That's"... Maybe this is why you two feel so much empathy towards the OP.

I'd also recommend reading OP's first 3 posts on mbworld, they are quite the gems. When you're looking to buy 2010 E-classes with possible salvage titles in the sub-$30k range you're dealing with a whole different kind of stupid...

Make sure your car will have at least P2 package.

Also buy a low mileage CPO from a MB dealer and then get warranty extension to 135 000 miles with the extra two years.

Also, before you sign anything request the dealer to enable the Bluetooth audio as it only takes a software upgrade to do it. Do not buy the car before you actually have tested Bluetooth audio working in it.

Some dealers are total ass about this and claim the car does not have the BT audio but it has been proven by so many that it does and works well after the software has been updated.

p2 package with the xenon lights and led drls on the 2010 area def must, also keyless go is prob the best option that you will obviously use everyday and notice.

Some good advice you already have in this thread, apart from some comment from one self proclaimed 'total douche'

Do some research on the cost of MB ownership before you buy, especially moving from a Nissan Altima, get the extended warranty, pick a good car. All the best.

nadz 09-28-2013 04:56 PM

Thank you!

Thank you for the positive feedback!

I'm sure there is a loan for that...

If you have nothing creative/helpful to say please leave the forum! This is not a place for a jerk like you.
