My W212 Is Not Lower Enough
Guys, i need some advice here
Currently i drive 2012 E250 CGI Avantgarde, and fitted with 19" F 8.5 R 10 on 245/35/19 & 275/30/19
Lowered with eibach pro-kit. For the front i got 1.5-2 finger gap & no problem with that. The problem is on rear height since if i measure with finger method, it had 2.5-3 finger gap from fender line to tyre
(sorry i don't know the exact value in inch/mm).
I consider to change my stock shock absorbers with bilstein B8-Sprint or change my springs to H&R since H&R stated in their website
that their spring will lowered approximately 1.4-inch on front & 1.3-inch on rear. Honestly, i prefer to change my shock absorbers therefore my springs are still useful but
what became my doubts is it will make more lower or not.
So i need some good advice from all bros, experts, mechanics here in this forum for what step i should take beside cut or press my springs.
Thank You

Should have gone H&R. Mine lowered w/ H&R and the stance is pretty much right on.
I think there is some type of bushing/pad in between the springs/car that you may be able to change. Not sure if that would make a 1-2 finger difference tho...

i have seen in some articles that mentioned "links" for the suspension.
What do they mean by "links"? is that kind of brand/something?

Links are for air equipped suspensions. The e550 have them and E63 have them in the rears. it's pretty much a small 3 inch or so stick that is adjustable to trick the computer.

Just get new. I had mine in my previous car for over 7yrs without any issues. I would do the same for my E550 but I am going to lower mine with lowering links. Very affordable alternative and works just like Coilovers in terms of height adjustments.

Out of those, I would go KW Coilovers. But do some research first because it is very subjective in what you are looking for.
