Keyless Go without the key
 

So the other day i was half awake as always as i jumped in my car to work. I pressed start and left the house. stopped at a gas station and when returning to my running car i felt for my key. well to my surprise it wasn't there. i search the car not there either. drove home looked and then finally found it in the hamper upstairs in the jeans i was wearing the night before. I just tried it again today before I posted this and sure enough the car starts without me even having the key on me. Seems in every other keyless go car i have driven if the key isn't detected the car will die as soon as you hit the brake if it was in park.

is the spare in the car ?

No spare anywhere in the car. And it wouldn't let me lock if the spare was in it anyways correct.

You need to show the car to a dealer. Mine immediately starts flashing red if I drove 100ft without a key in a car.

"Key Not Present" appears on display when I try to start w/o key.

Do you have an afermarket alarm or remote starter ? Just wondering if anything was done to modify the ignition system
