Really mad I couldn't find one with lighting package. Folks, this is a must have option. don't pass it up if you can find one with it.

Impressions
[*] Steering is lighter feeling, car seems faster and tighter than my 2011[*]The newer AMG wheels are painted grey fyi, it matches the palladium silver and gives the car a stealth look, versus my iridium silver one.[/LIST][*]I love the front end, still not loving the rear. Its growing on me but the rear is a hard sell as of now. Might be that there is way too much going on with the rear valance.. with the side vents and the elaborate chrome around the tailpipes.. I don't know...

ECO Stop Start is super annoying. The great mileage (21 in city) is not annoying.

Engine is noisy but we all know about that.
as of late there have been complaints about the seats, i agree but I also recall this on my 2011 and it went away after a month. I think the seats need to be broken in a bit.

Lane tracking is awesome, another must have. Blind spot saved me the other day.

Iridium silver always looked clean, palladium silver always looks dirty... funny but that is my experience thus far.

Otherwise its just like my 2011, only better smelling. No flames please.. just my opinion.

Not if I wanted to take advantage of the Winter event. Plus my lease was going to be up and MB ate the last four payments.

Tough to argue with that logic. Sometimes the savings just make perfect sense. I would have taken burl walnut over ash and give up the option of Distronic PLUS for a $5k saving myself but no such luck for me. Oh, and nice ride, enjoy!

I was in a similar situation as you as I had to rush to take advantage of the Winter Deal (on 12/31), so I couldn't get everything I wanted. Wish mine had the AMG rims but the standard Sport rims are just starting to grow on me.

Hence why I ordered mine in Sept for late Nov delivery. Got to take advantage of the winter event on delivery over and above the negotiated price !! Salesmen told me that in Sept that every Nov/Dec there is always something and he would honor it.

if I was able to order the car I would have only added Leather and Lighting package.. I love MB tex with the grey interior because I can clean it easily but nothing beats the smell of real leather...and for a 60K car it should be standard but lets not get on the whole leather vs tex bandwagon... they're both awesome for different reasons..
