Check out our Microbead Covers. They will last and perform much better than the OEM covers.

I ordered the OEM car cover last week for my 2013 E350 Sport, and it does have a pocket/notch for the star hood emblem. The cover is a 4-layer system. I plan to use the cover after washing the car to preserve that just washed look.

Does anyone know where one can still get the cover?
I have checked everywhere and can't source it. All places I've ordered from says it's discontinued. OEM part number: Mercedes q6600082 EDIT: Actually I forgot that this was the wrong forum part, since I have a 2009..., however. I did find this one: Q6600089 Which is for a 2010 and up E class sedan... Is that what was used above? I ask only because on 2010 they still had the hood ornament where later years it's on the grill. Same with the rear antenna. Honestly that looks like it would fit the 2009 body style perfectly fine. Figured I'd ask since I can't source a 2009 anywhere. I know I had to do some searching for our CLK one and even then I couldn't find a coupe, I had to get the convertible cover, which fit perfectly fine on our coupe. Thanks, -Nigel |
I think in later years they still had the hood ornament. You could always take it off and just put on a flat badge. It's the luxury package that had the hood ornament. Most cars you see in the later years had the sport package which didn't have the hood ornament.
