Love your wheels and stance. Guess we can turn this into a 20" wheel HR spring thread, I had originally just posted to display what I have done to my ride.
List your wheel specs, tire brand and sizing. Would be a nice one stop shop for others to come and see what wheels look like/with various offsets and tire sizes. Side bar- Sad to say that one month into ownership of my E350 ( and over 3500 invested into mods and service warranty) it is for sale. I am in Sacramento for anyone interested. |

What a shameless plug by David there.
Looking good, love the stance of the H&R's and the AMG's. What grille is that? |

G 37,
Great stance. Regarding the springs, any issues with the tires rubbing and how has the ride changed from the stock springs? Was the suspension originally the factory sport or standard? Do you have a sense for how much the height changed; HR website seems to indicate about 1.5 inches from stock but then has a ambiguous disclaimer for the change from sport. Last, what is the wheel manufacturer? I really like the look of them. Thanks, Karl |

Seller: oem wheels plus Sent you a PM few days ago, might not have hit submit. |
They are all over ebay. Wheel pro's has them.
They are basically Chinese copies of AMG rims in "fantasy" sizes. Aka they took my factory 18" AMG E550 wheel and stretched it to a 20". http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-Mercedes-S63-S500-S550-CL550-E-Class-E300-E350-E550-AMG-Wheels-/181474444412?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AE550&hash=item2a40b8447c&vxp=mtr They do look good on the car though. Take care, George |

Did you end up selling it? I see that in your profile, you've got a 535i listed, so I'd guess yes. |
How is the quality on these wheels replica wheels though? They look amazing, but will they turn to dust if you hit a pothole?

Did you end up selling it? I see that in your profile, you've got a 535i listed, so I'd guess yes. I actually bought the 535i before the E350, it leaves the garage on the weekends. The E Class was to replace my G37sport as my daily driver. As far as the replica wheels, depends on your road conditions, they are going to be similar to most cast wheels. If you hit a pot hole with enough force your going to cause damage to your wheel. I have never had any issues, 3 or 4th set of replica wheels- believe I cracked a replica RS6 wheel on my 2012 Audi. In the defense of the wheel, the tire on the wheel was a 30 profile and the pot hole I hit was at an angle because I tried to avoid it. The rim bent, cost me a few hundred to have a new one shipped within a week. I can't speak on long term wear of these wheels though as I do not keep my cars for more then 12-24 months. Something to also think about if you plan to keep the car long term. :nix: |
Thanks for the info. What scares me is that the wheels come in at less than $200 per wheel for the package of 4 which seems too good to be true, especially for a 20". So I'm not sure if the price is a good thing or a bad thing. lol.
