Help! 19's or 20's on a 12 E550?
I'm also confused on an appropriate offset, I don't want the wheels to stick out from the fenders. Thinking 35mm will be ok. Anyone want to answer if I can run a staggered set?
Thank you for your advice!
Where are wheel / car pics on this forum? Would love to see these on a W212.
I saw a similar looking set on fleabay, but they were 21" ... too little rubber between me and the road for comfort.

My issue is I have 18" on my W212 Wagon for summer and recommended 17" for winters. The car rides better on the winters and handles somewhat better as well recognizing I have no exotic tires on the thing.
The 18" can have a minor tendency to tram line which will be worse the shorter the sidewall gets.

Sorry this is a cell phone pic.
I actually find the 20's to ride just fine. That being said I still have the stock suspension which appears to be fairly forgiving of these pencil thin tires. Gives me the ******* coming into driveways and driving down some streets though!
So, how are the roads in your area and what is your tolerance for financial pain - replacing wheels and tires?
