2013-2015 E-Class & CLS New Manufacturer Recall
A new recall regarding the rubber seal at the top of the secondary bulkhead being not secured properly was posted by MB on 09 FEB 15 and updated 19 FEB 15. The seal could possibly fall onto a hot catalytic converter.
The fix listed is adding 4 additional retaining clips.
The vehicles affected are certain Model Year 2013-2015 E-Class and CLS vehicles.
It is listed on the MB recall page by running your VIN#.
The MB# is 2015020001
You may also check NHTSA running your VIN#.
NHTSA# is 15V088
That's all I found. The MB letter was not available on the website.
The fix listed is adding 4 additional retaining clips.
The vehicles affected are certain Model Year 2013-2015 E-Class and CLS vehicles.

Thanks RSIKR ! Checked my 2015 E250BT and it's not included. I wonder if this recall only pertains to gas engined versions ?

The service department seemed unaware of the recall at first, but was able to take care of it. Unfortunately the trunk requires a new trunk control module which means another service appointment. Loaner was a GLA...yuck.
