I think i am the only one who does not like how the CLS looks like so i have not even bothered trying one.
I don't think the W212 E350 with Luxury (comfort) suspension is horrible at all. To the contrary it is classic Mercedes which tend to roll a fair amount. Smooth ride with good handling. They were never meant to be a Porsche.

I would be interested in trying an E550 to experience it.

Love those facial expressions when he floors it. Lost count of how many times he uses the word 'nice'.

Just for the Record

The E and CLS class cars share the same chasis. I think the person mentioning the increased "road noise" is correct in his assumption. I've owned both cars and I didn't like the fact that the CLS has a very defined frontal slope so that if you're 6"+ your head will make contact with the frame getting in and out of the drivers door. Lastly, I found the interior of the CLS uninspired at best, of course, to each his own.

Well if you're ever in the Pittsburgh area, he can do a review of your car.

2013 e350 coupe
My new e400

Hey guys I'm new to this site and I have a 2013 e350 and love the ride compared to most coupes for NY driving conditions. I'm very uninformed as to some of the things you guys talk about. When you say body roll, how would the 2013 e350 compare to the 2016 e400 with the sport package? I just built one and is in production to be delivered mid September. Should I be expecting better handling ? Thanks !

The 2015 W212 styling is cleaner. I find the rear quarter panels on the CLS to be very awkward looking. The interior space is also very restricted compared to the E Class, so too is the trunk. As you mentioned, with its frameless doors, the CLS does not match the E Class for its solid build quality.

Finally, there is no comparison in terms of fuel economy and highway range, the E250BT is so much more efficient.
+1 with the efficiency I'm getting, energy companies can suck it, amazing gas mileage.

I agree with your sentiment of the energy companies sucking it
