Oh, I do like those wheels. I think I was looking at the same, but they have gray paint on the inner portions. Are they the reps? Did you notice any difference in the ride from 18" to 19"? I don't want to compromise the smooth ride, that's why I don't want to go to 20" and lowering springs.

I see a set of these CLS550 wheels for a good price on Ebay right now. Can I get a full body shot? I like the higher spoke count on the W212, like 10 spokes, that seems to be popular.

There seems to be a problem with your camera, it's crooked.

welcome to the Forum Sir and nice clean ride you got there!
if I was goin OE on my sedan, id go for these wheels. imo best looking OE wheels for the 212 pre and post. (although id prefer the silver face with black inners) a 5mm spacer on the rear can make it look more aggressive.

OP, i dont think theres much difference with the ride from 18 to 19 especially if youre not lowering her.

Yes they are replicas. I did notice a difference from the 18" but it is not dramatic.

Sizing looks good, but I think I want to get away from 5-spoke stars on this car.

How would you rate the ride stiffness on 19's vs. 18's?

Jon it was like night and day switching out from the 18"s to the 19"s. The car feels tighter around corners, but it could also be the 4matic helps with that as well.

I'm more concerned with harshness of potholes and bumps than cornering ability. I have to keep the wife's butt happy. She does not want me to get bigger wheels because she hated the ride of my CLK430 with 19's. She thinks it's all in the wheels, but I know that car is just stiffer overall. I wish there was some place I could temporarily rent the wheels and try them for a week or two.

These cars aren't really meant to handle that well. I believe the 4matic does make a difference in the handling though.

maybe you can do a square 19" setup like 245/35/19 all the way around. Make sure you are running a 9" rim if you go this route.

Definitely prefer the staggered look. Deeper/wider in the back.

Mine are 245/35/19 but wish I had gone with 255/35/19
