Any female drivers on these boards?
I don't see many ladies driving MB around the NY area. I may see a few in a C300 once in a blue moon but that is it.
There are around 10 E350's in my company's parking lot and all are driven by men. I wouldn't say the same for BMW. I see a lot of ladies driving the 328's. What gives? :nix: |
In Dallas Texas, 9 out of 10 E350 drivers are women. At least in my area.
|
Maybe the ladies are in the back and the man driving is a chauffeur.
Regardless, I see about as many women as men in my area. Even more women than men in MB SUV's. Maybe the question is the number of women driving "sports sedans" vs. SUV's in general. |

My wife drives BMW and Mercedes. I can admit she drives much faster and more aggressive than me.
|
My neighbors have his and her's Mercedes.

Interesting it seems you guys have more female Mercedes drivers than we do! As far as aggressive driving, our wives would probably outrace us any day lol.
|
My wife is the primary driver of the E350. I mainly drive a 335i or Triumph Street Triple R (motorcycle),
Our previous MB (C230) she was the main driver. She is more of a MB fan and I'm a bit more of a BMW fan. |
The ladies seem to like MB SUVs more ....else sorry, Audis for some odd reason.

where I'm from ZERO is the answer, cuz its illegal for them to drive (saudi arabia)
its s*** & unacceptable IMO and waiting for alot of changes in my country, hopefully soon |
Female driver/owner of 2 Mercedes!
I live in CT & am driving in NY all of the time! I've owned MB vehicles for the past 22 years. I love my older vehicle, a 1990 420SEL. It's a classic beauty! 4 years ago, I traded in my 1985 190E stick shift for a CPO 2007 E350 4Matic...big mistake. My "New" car, at 65k miles, was recently diagnosed with a bad engine balance shaft & a transfer case that needs to be replaced. $10k worth of repairs needed in one dealership visit. At least the heated seats work. Needless to say, I'm happy to still own and rely on the old faithful 1990 boat!

Holiday driving is the worst!
Coming back, I was on a four lane with a "5th" turn lane, thank God. I happened to be watching the car in the right lane just ahead of me and all of a sudden the driver moves into my lane with no signal or anything. If the the turn lane had not been there, I would have had to let the car hit me or pull into oncoming traffic. Ironically, all of us were driving about 5 MPH over the posted limit of 55, so no real reason to pass the car ahead. The irony was that the traffic was no heavier than normal. It's the season to drive carefully, very carefully. Watch the road, not your phone or navigation or screens on your car. |
Not always

I have been driving MB's since late 80's when I bought my 1972 380SEL beauty that I gave up when we moved from NY area to Texas in mid 90's.
Since then, my husband and I have only driven MB's. We have C class, M class, E class for 10+ years plus our current 10 GLK & 13 E wagon. I keep saying as we get older, this is the "last" one and the one's we are driving may be as we do plan on keeping these for some time. A lot of women MB owners in my 'hood! |

Wife and I are both driving E class lately. She's taken the 63 wagon and I'm stuck with the 550. |

I feel like I always see ladies driving C Class or a SUV. There are a quite a few ladies where I work who drive MB's mostly all C300s and a couple who drive E350. I've never seen a lady drive a 550 of any kind or a high level AMG. Now when it comes to BMW cars or SUVs I see ladies driving those all the time. Idk why that is but I'll keep a closer eye out since I find that interesting.
