I use rainX on the rear window only. In the windshield, over time, rainX will leave a film.

RainX creates a film, that is near impossible to remove and ruins your blades in no time. This is just one thread regarding the subject and there are many just like it in every car forum out there. But hey, if it works for you keep at it.

This is kind of my philosophy, everyone has certain items that fit into their comfort zone. I have to wait until I replace the blades I have to really tell if it has negatively effected these blades. It never has on my past cars but maybe I just got lucky

Ah, I have to read up on this post. I wonder about the actual Rain-X Wiper Blades. I saw them and was thinking of giving them a try?

MB OEM blades are the best in my experience. No other brand having tried several works as good. $40 well spent. I replace my own every service.

I only am able to resolve chattering by polishing my windshield with Menzerna SF4000 periodically. This removes debris which washing & even claying doesn't.

I did the "Arrie" retrofit, putting Bosch blades in the OEM Valeo holders. No more chattering.
