Well I couldn't resist! Just picked this up and already added tint, 20" wheels, and now looking for more! It never ends

thanks everyone.. Ok now for mods! Lol what do u guys think of my suspension? I have been million g over the idea of hr springs, but thinking that I just get the spring pads replaced and call it a day? It very low as it is and I feel that just adjusting to spring pads will get the look a bit more. Suggestions?

Congrats, I wanted to lower my W212 using springs too but having had it bottomed out a few times I thought that was not a good idea
I asked about lowering springs and indy shop advised me removing the pads .I drive it all stock though .

Removing completely?? I thought they were in there so the spring doesn't spin, extra layer of absorption, and noise as well. Anyone removed them completely?? What will happen if you do? Sorry a novice at this.

i like how aggressive the wheels are. though you may have some rubbing issue if you use lowering springs (just goin by the photos). not sure about the spring pads but do you know how thick your current pads are? you also have to consider passenger load.

Thanks so much! Ya I don't know what to do about lowering it.. How do u think it looks?? It rides like a dream and so far no big rubbing with a full load.. Just a little bit. I've done a huge amount of research but can't tell where to look on both front and rear on which pads I currently have. The dealer states I have size 3 which is 13mm but next to others, mine is much lower.

im not sure with you but with my E's, i made sure i have the most aggressive fitment (to my liking at least) even sticking out approximately 2-3mm F/R as i dont wanna lower the cars. gave the impression of wider rather than taller. i do have a fender gap but i dont mind as the car looks aggressive enough as is it.

my E sedan looks pretty similar to yours if not a bit higher but im not complaining...for now.

Nice.. But I don't have the luxury of that now thinking of trying to find the spring pad and switching them out. If I do have 13mm and I go to 5mm that is worth the $100 in labor and an alignment.

Ya don't know.. I know that it might net more than 8mm correct?? Anyone have thoughts since I probably won't be able to lower the vehicle?

Car looks great. Would be happy to get a set of 20's and not have to lower.

I have 20" and lowered on Vogtland springs, but yours looks fine without the drop, at least in the front. If you can lower the rears (as you say, with the pad swap) to be equal to the fronts, then you should be golden. 8mm might be all you need.

That's what I'm thinking too. Just because it's 8mm for the pad, I think it will translate into real world 12mm?? going to do it today!!

1. The black wheels on black paint looks awesome! The staggered stance looks so good! What are the size of the wheels (I think you have 20's) and tire combo?

2. I am thinking you still have the stock springs given the fender gap. If I had the guess, the wheel/tire combo in your set up may be slightly larger than the stock circumference thus the fender gap is smaller but not completely gone like when using lowering springs... (again purely guess by looking at it)

3. One thing I'd also strongly recommend is to hire a good (and reasonably priced) detailer to paint correct your car. I can see swirl marks from the pictures... It's the curse of owning a black car. After correction/(essentially repolish a layer off of your clear coat), be sure to put on some kind of protective coating like C Quarts or some nano protective coat. The detailer should tell you how to properly wash your car in the future (or you can google youtube) so you don't reintroduce swirl marks.

Again, the wheels and black paint is an awesome match!
