Bought a new to me 2014 E550 Coupe
 

It is Polar White with black leather interior. Premium 1 Package, Sport Package, decklid spoiler, panoramic roof and it came with tinted windows and sunroof. Car has 22k miles on it and it is CPO with 2 years and unlimited mileage left on the factory warranty.

I love this car. Hoping for many trouble free miles. :y

What do the transmission updates do? Is this something the dealer should address?

Just some software updates -- and only needed if you have clunky shifts

If it shifts well, leave it alone

Loved my 2014 e550

It shifts pretty smoothly, it's the throttle I need to get used to. Oddly enough, I find it easier to be smooth when it is in sport mode. Wish I could default the car to start in sport mode all the time.

To steal what I think is often an Audi term, you've got a Stormtrooper: white on black (and more so if / when you blackout some chrome trim).

How's the backseat space for adults: useable, passable or mainly for show?

By the way, are the E550 coupes available in awd or just rwd?

Back seats are tiny. We have a son who could sit behind my wife in this car but this will be mainly used by me for commuting.

I don't need AWD living in SoCal. It is RWD.

I was wondering if they offer airmatic on the coupe models of that year? Regardless how is the handling and smoothness of the ride depending on what sort of suspension you have. I love the look and color.

The 2014 E550 coupe has 402 HP, but that 402 HP is very underrated, its probably closer to 440.



As far as I know, the E550 coupe is RWD only.

I believe they were dyno tested to be 440hp so MB definitely understated the power.

Great car, was looking at one but decided to go 4 door version. If not for twins I would definitely have gotten a coupe, just love the look.

I've got the same car in black on black with black ash trim. I love my cars power and looks but it could handle a lot better and the rear seats are for decoration only. There was no air attic option on the couple but the ride is firm and controlled. Highway cruising at illegal speeds is smooth as silk. In town mileage is 13 and on the highway it can reach 30. If buy it again if I had to.
