Thanks for the pictures! looks like the screen might need to be spaced out just a little on the cls or it might fit just barely. I take it the oem brackets should be very similar to these ones and should work on this screen?

They mounting holes are identical..But since it wont fit in the trim hole it wight not reach the holders. So a slight mod is needed then. Maybe just some washers. I can try this in a near future..Dont have a OEM bracket here right now.
When it comes to fitment in the W212 I just did a test fit for just the screen and it LOOKS AMAZING...SO OEM looking. Not big at all and dont block any front view at all. Im impressed.

I ordered a facelift cls frame but its shipping from germany so will have to wait a bit. Received installation instructions from the seller and it appears to be truly plug and play, no splicing or cutting wires. It is essentially an added interface on top of the stock head unit, so far its looking good.

Very nice video!!! Is the screen glass? if not might be worth finding a glass screen protector to improve the touch screen feel. Also will have to see if its possible to access the system files and modify some of the translation and images to match the car. Very impressive what china has created.

So awesome Chris. How can I get the unit for a 2012 w218 CLS63 with the updated customization for the AMG theme? Are you selling them now, or do I get one from Carlife and then do a flash to the android ROM?

The 10.25 inch screen wont actually fit the cls without shaving down some of the wood trim (which is what I will do) or adding some kind of spacers. There is a 9 inch screen variant but i really like the aspect ratio and size of the 10.25 inch screen so will be installing that. The chinese manufacturer has not made a bracket yetfor the cls but I am awaiting oem parts, will post info about it once I get it installed.

Yeah the 9" is prefered I think. Have the same functions and info. But sure the 1025 is less "in the way" of your eyesite.

I'm not worried about the bracket. I can fab anything I need. Just need the most appropriate source to purchase the unit with added AMG customized start screen for ntg 4.5x w218. Where do I get it? I emailed carlife store and got no response.

You can purchase it from Chris, carlife did respond to me so no issues there and I believe they sell on aliexpress as well. The amg logo is a modification by chris. You would have to access the android file system and modify that yourself. But you will definitely have to decide wether you want the 10.25 inch or 9 inch screen. The 9 inch is more oem ipad style while the 10.25 is more sleek and fits the shape of the car interior better imo.

Well MB is making the 1025 them self now to replace the 9. Just look in the new W205. So very OEM looking to me.

Yes! I love the new mercedes interiors and am very glad they are going in this direction. Was not a fan when the almost square ipad interiors came out.

I receive mine today from Carlife and installed on my w218, attached pictures with the 10.25 screen installed on face lift bracket .

The bracket is the standard w218 face lift bracket, trimmed a little bit, in half an hour was on the car. The only "minus" is the gap that you can see in the picture under the screen.
