High mileage owners (70K+) - tranny issues?

I posted some comments on A6 vs E350 on another forum and one respondent said 3 family members had E350s and the tranny had to be replaced on all of them around 60K miles. I have not seen any evidence of that in posts here and Consumer Reports rates tranny reliability as excellent. Any high mileage owners experienced issues?

You actually think 70K miles on a five year old car is high mileage!!

I have 96000 miles on my 2011 E350 diesel.

All that torque should tear up a transmission, and mine has been perfect.

My 2010 E350 has 97,xxx on it now and I haven't noticed any issues with the tranny.

Once you dive into how these transmissions actually work and how they are programmed, some of the weird quirks that people think are problems can actually just be normal operation.
