debadging complete

I was back & fourth on de-badgeing. My friend from Germany convinced me stating it cleans up the rear and gives a lower stance illusion. Took me about 30 min, hairdryer, floss and goof-off followed by some nice wax. I agree it looks better.

Nice truck. I used compound and a DA polisher, then wax when I did mine... looks like it was never even there.

the big guess is f anyone can identify the truck

Nothing like debadging!! :)

Use a 3M eraser wheel instead of goo gone.

You will be done in less than 10 min, ZERO swirls from rubbing.

Thanks for the tips...i love the look of the debadged rear-end. one of the simplest and cheapest mods for a DIY job. What other cosmetic mods are guys talking about? i have an E550 2011, Charcoal Gray and was thinking of switching up the front grill.

Looks good. I personally have never de-badged any vehicle but some people swear by it. Glad you enjoy.

Car looks nice and clean, i might do the same. I wouldn't say it looks lower but it does look good.

Truck is a 1939 International Harvester :p:

Holes gone- I still like it better with the Star

I have always debadged my vehicles. Some say it is a way of trying to hide a "lower model", but I just like the cleaner look. Especially, if the badging is asymmetrical.
I bought my wife a ML350 and the first thing she asked was "Are you going to remove the badges for me?". God- I Love That Woman!
