Tonyb203 02-11-2017 07:01 PM

Thank you

davidjohnbamber 02-11-2017 07:10 PM

Congrats on your new ride. The biggest problem with my car is trying to keep my right foot calm!

Tonyb203 02-11-2017 07:14 PM

Yea it's hard not to go below 80mph it's like nothing for these cars and like nothing I have ever driven. Amazing all around I love it

thefisch 02-11-2017 09:05 PM

nice ride. pretty loaded too - P2, pano, distronic.

Put up some more pics when you get a chance.

belarus27 02-11-2017 09:16 PM

Welcome!

Tonyb203 02-12-2017 07:23 AM

Yes. It has the P01 premium package and I just ordered led side markers, cf mirrors and a couple small interior pieces. I have the cf roof spoiler on already and cf trunk spoiler going on when it gets warmer

thefisch 02-12-2017 09:41 AM

meant to say P2 package. darn shift key.

dbldpr 02-12-2017 09:46 AM

Welcome nice looking ride Try Ebay for the parts you want after you have searched this forum.

El Cid 02-12-2017 10:37 AM

Congrats and welcome. Highly recommend that if you have not done so to throughly read and annotate your Operator's, COMAND and Maintenance Manuals.

Tonyb203 02-12-2017 10:41 AM

Haven't done that yet. Anything I should be on the lookout for?

El Cid 02-12-2017 11:09 AM

Everything!

If you have owned an MB before, probably aware of it, but much more complicated than American and Asian cars. There may also be conflicting information, such as Tire Pressures. Op. Man. says one thing, door post says another and gas flap says yet another.
BlueTooth pairing if you have not done it.
Recording to Music Register if you have it and want to use it.

Required vs. recommended maintenance and when done.

When I get a new car, I go through the manuals with a red pen and a notebook and black pen. I highlight a lot of stuff in manuals and then make notes I can easily understand on paper to keep in the car.

I also may make up my own index using terms I understand. Didn't do this with E, but did with a Nissan Rogue.

If need new carpet type mats, AutoAnything.com has some nice Lloyd ones which you can order in any color. They will send samples if you contact them.

Yes my first Mercedes. I did Bluetooth already to phone but what I find funny is for music I need to connect my phone to a rca and plug it into the glove box then switch to aux on the radio. Is there anyway to have the music sent by Bluetooth?

Nice ride. I'm really liking my coco mats! Definitely old school but so am I. If you're old school too, take a look at www.cocomats.com

Thank you. It's a snowmobile today

AkaSigFreak 02-12-2017 01:14 PM

You can get a Bluetooth receiver and plug it into the 3.5mm mini jack in the glove box.

Search the old threads. For some reason on the 2010, bluetooth isn't enabled, but there's a way to turn it on, I forget exactly how though as it works fine in my 2011.

But congrats, parktronic, distronics and P2. Did it have the pano roof and fold down rear seats? You probably got the adaptive high beams too which I believe was part of the P2 package. Distronics was normally part of the driver assistance package which I believe is also blind spot and lane assist so the car is pretty nicely loaded.

Many years ago I had a Fiat 124 Sport Spyder and got coco mats for it. After a few months, pulled them out to clean the interior and a tremendous amount of dirt and debris on the floors.
Apparently coco mats had lots of holes that let everything fall through. Are they still made that way?

Tonyb203 02-12-2017 04:48 PM

Yea. It has pano roof and fold down seats and all the other stuff with it. And Only 46k on it when I got it w clean carfax and all history

Tonyb203 02-12-2017 05:03 PM

My coco mats from 35 years ago had the same issues you described. They are made differently now.

Having bluetooth enabled would be better. When it's playing via bluetooth, you can go up or down a track/tracks from the steering wheel controls or through the control knob. It also displays the song and a bar showing where you are with the song. I don't think you'll get any of that with an adapter.

What type of wheel style do you gravitate to? Simple 5 spoke? Classy multi-spoke? A traditional mesh design? Or something fresh and trendy?
