W212 Center Arm Rest Tray

Does anyone in the US make these? https://www.ebay.com/p/?iid=26295568...pp=true&chn=ps

I am not a fan of ordering stuff from China even thought that is where 99% of the stuff we buy comes from. My only concern is if it doesn't fit right, after waiting 2-3 weeks to get it I am stuck trying to return it. Every google search I do brings me to eBay and China as a seller.

Anyone?

Kind of hard to go wrong at that price. Only use Paypal. Be careful of how this thing fits with the iPhone and aux cables that are right in the back of the console box. The cables are very stiff and don't bend around things so easily.

Yeah I suppose $15 isn't that bad. If it were $100 I would be leery.

2 reviews, both of it giving one star for not fitting. But, it's only $15.

I've experienced great results from this seller... looks to be the same product, much better seller rating:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Armrest-Stor...cAAOSwXeJYDI20

Make sure to confirm type required and fitment requirements prior to ordering for best results. The product I ordered from this seller was for a different brand but fitment and materials were spot on - no issues.

I bought one from China that looks exactly the same and had the exact same ebay description, from a seller called "bizbest (3480 )". If it's the same product, it is about one inch too short for the 2014 E350 armrest center console. It fits fine left to right, but the rear or front clips just miss the compartment ledge they are supposed to hang from. I wedged a piece of plastic between the rear edge of the tray and the center console compartment to keep it 'forward'. Works fine like that, but doesn't look great and isn't particularly convenient to remove and replace if you want to access any stuff under it.

I just ordered this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/272416785495...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT because its ebay listing clearly indicates that it fits the 2014 E-Class, while the ebay description for the first tray is not so clear. I don't yet know if this 'second' tray is any longer, or if it will work without modification. I'll let you know when I get it.

I bought the ebay one that Trump refers to... and have been satisfied with it.

fits snugg, wires for phone are no problem. The snug fit means you have to grab the front part and lift, then pull forward to remove.

I'll post a pic after work on Friday

Yes, my handle 'Tump' predates the pres.'s notoriety.

I received the above tray and installed it. It fits perfectly and works well. No modifications are necessary. However, if like me, from time to time you need to quickly pick the tray up to access the items underneath it (in my case, my iPod), I modified it by drilling two holes in the center of the center divider and looping a black wire tie through these holes to form a small loop that I can easily grasp with one finger and pull the tray up. Be sure to glue or tape the back of the wire tie to the underside of the tray so that the loop is the right size and won't move.
