In the same vein of OrientBlue3 with his Black Hood Badge thread, I am starting a thread to show others a cool mod I came across.

I added a 3D AMG Affalterbach emblem to the COMAND control knob, very subtle but classy touch.

Saw your message about ordering it on eBay -- cool. Is it labeled for the COMAND knob, or is it a hood emblem retrofitted there, or just a random sticker/emblem for general use?

Yeah it's labeled for the "multimedia control".

It was only like 10 bucks.

They are not interchangeable, they both are of different sizes.
Meaning, the command knob badge is different size than the front hood emblem.

I wish they were same though, it would open up more options and designs.

Since, my vehicle has no parts related to AMG, I'm just going with non-amg studd.

I really thought it wasn't going to fit right or was going to be too small, but once I put it on, it fit perfect. I am very happy with the result.

Ya, we have less options for that, only two as of now. Depending on the color of the interior..!

I am always turning the knob to zoom in and out of the map and it would drive me crazy to not have the image lined up as you guys are showing in your photos. It would always be ****-eyed and that would drive me insane.
