Yeah my interior is black/black with black ash... lol gotta keep the trend going. I have the door lights like the second one on all my doors. People getting out of the car tend to like them
I ordered the OEM (blue) version for the knob even though I've got the black version as centercaps. I figured that anyone in the car won't ever notice, plus for me the blue is a nice detail touch over the plain knob.
When I had my car in for service, the guys were impressed with the emblem and stated it looked top notch. They asked "wow, is that a rare upgraded COMAND factory option or something?" I smiled and said "nope, just added my personal touch"
I am always turning the knob to zoom in and out of the map and it would drive me crazy to not have the image lined up as you guys are showing in your photos. It would always be ****-eyed and that would drive me insane.
I get ya, I'm going to put my star version on with a piece of tape for a day or two first to see if it drives me nuts too....before the final stick on

I added a 3D AMG Affalterbach emblem to the COMAND control knob, very subtle but classy touch.

I love the 3D look and the clean metal-only color, but since my car isn't tuned and the only thing AMG on my car is the rims, I think it wouldn't fit the overall vibe of the car.

I struggled with that same question before I ordered mine. But since my car is the "Sport" model AND it comes with the official AMG wheels straight from the factory, I decided the Affalterbach AMG emblem (as opposed to the standard /////AMG emblem) was appropriate...since it was a more subtle/sophisticated design, and spoke more to the heritage vs. the "branding".
