Brushed Red Keyless Go Button
I have been playing around with a Brushed Red Keyless Go Button.
I think the Red Carbon Fiber version is too much with the Burlwood Trim so I thought this would be just enough. (Definitely, need to dust the interior) https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...ba7ea72b38.jpg |

Maybe?! Depends on how you think it looks.
|
Haha. Okay I think I got my answer
|
It is removable. The last one I did was a red film and I think it looked better. This time, I was having issues cutting the circles.

Wrapped mine the other day just to see... took it down the same day

Lots of views but not many responses. By the responses received- I'd say it doesn't look good. Oh well!

Not a big fan of the red start/stop button. My daughter's Honda fit is red. LOL
I think the stock silver is the way to go and MB really doesn't offer an alternative. $200 or whatever for that Ebay red button is just ridiculous. Maybe black would be ok, but not with your trim. Sorry, I admire your attempts to customize but just not feeling this direction. |
Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I'll try leaving the letters color filled instead.
|
Yeah, regardless of what you end up doing, I think it's important to still be able to differentiate the script.

Not the biggest fan of this myself and I do recall some people paying 200 bucks for a similiar addition. So it must be a thing that some people like. Since really only you and your passengers will see it why not just leave it like that if you like it?

they are on ebay going for $130...

Yeah, I found that one for $149, but nothing for $130. In any event, these used to be $180-$200 awhile back. It is a hunk of plastic (ok "carbon fiber"). total ripoff
|
I forgot , do these light up or not? if so that carbon fiber one dont look like it will.
even tho id get it in a heartbeat if it wasnt that pricey |

light up your wallet, yessir!
|
Considering that the regular chrome button is about $22-$25 on eBay, that's a big rip off.

One thing i couldnt find is......... START/STOP pre cut sticky words that i could put on top of my vinyl when im done wrapping the button. That would make it OEM kinda looking. |

Not bad, thanks. Someone could make a killing coming up with some trick options for these since it is a pure graphic exercise, with no electronics.
