Here is the full dyno update, all in ECO mode:
Stock exhaust - 363whp
AMG exhaust: 371whp
Speedriven: 388whp
Torque numbers were all over the place - there wasn't a good reading on it.
The odd part was that in dyno mode with the AMG exhaust it LOST power.........makes no sense but oh well. I did not do dyno mode (didn't know about it) with the stock and Speedriven exhausts.
So the results are clear to me based on my tastes:
Stock - plenty of power, too quiet.
AMG - best sound quality (deep, throaty AMG sound), minor power pickup, a good value at $1,700 all in for me
Speedriven - sound great, not my ideal, but by far the most power and most expensive at $5,000 (msrp).
Regardless, guys with the bi-turbo should feel really good that the 402 crank rating was totally sandbagged by MB
I will work on the sound clips.

But jesus that's a great horsepower increase with both the amg and speed driven pieces without tuning.

They said anywhere from 20-25% is common on AWD cars. I am trying to figure out what changes, performance wise, dynoing in E vs S has (I think dyno mode basically disables some safety items like tracation control and what not). I heard through the rumor mill that in E you don't hit 100% throttle at WOT (90% was what I was told) but I have not confirmed it. I also don't know if the performance map in the computer differs between the two.
When I told Speedriven of the original dyno numbers were they said I was low ~20whp compared to what they see on their cars which they attributed to the E vs S mode. Could just be I had a tough dyno, could just be that my car 'underperforms' other TT E550's, could be they were blowing smoke or that the shop I use doesn't know these cars well enough. Not really super concerning though, almost 400 whp is really plenty, lol.

If there is 30-40 hp loss (which is 10%) of Crank ratings, what would it be for my e350, lol.
Now, I need to start looking for crank vs rwhp, when reading for numbers on spec sheet from different car manufacturers
I will work on the sound clips.
As per this task, I have a small request.
Can you please record the exhaust sound from outside the car, while driving on a road, including automatic up/downshifting and manual up/downshifting.
I was test driving C43 MAG 4Matic, the other day, the sales guy was sweet enough to let me go 0-60 on a brand new car, in a, no traffic alley.
Now, once I reached my satisfied speed, I let my foot off the gas, and let it downshift automatically, as it is slowing down. The sound it made, while revving to match the downshift is pure honey for my ears.
On the other hand, what is the Crackling/Popping(not a bang like gun shots, like smokey's car get, from FRIDAY movie) sound from exhaust, while downshifting, called?
Is that because running rich? I don't mind some mpg drop, just to listen to that sound, once in a while
Can that noise be achieved, just by exhaust upgrade? If so, I'm in for an E43 exhaust for my 350 4M(is that the one I need to look for or E63's?)
Thanks.

2014 E550-sold 😩
Just buy an E550. I thought this beast must have more than the rated 402 HP. It feels way faster than that. I still have 2 years of warranty and may do this exhaust mod now rather than the tune as well. The car is already scary fast at times. Thanks for all of this research. Speeddriven is in my backyard here.

I never thought they were necessary, until I got this car and in future, I'll kick myself in the back so hard, If I miss any of these features IF I replace the current one.
Thanks TreSean1 for spoiling(finding me this car) me..!

So when you changed exhausts did you change everything from the turbo back? Or just the mufflers? Which exhaust do you think had the best AMG "POP POPS"? Also were they all standard true dual Small h pipe setups or was the speed driven an X?

I did from the turbo headers back, so the downpipes and catback, I did not do the headers coming off the turbos into the downpipes. The Speedriven has an h-pipe setup.
I don't know if it would do the popping thing or not, I really don't have an opportunity to safely get up to a speed to do that on my commute or around town (I live right outside the city). Maybe it's because I am older now, but given the acceleration it doesn't feel that safe.
I have no idea how this exhaust would sound on the V6. If it's like my old V6's with an exhaust it'll be great at startup, idle, cruise and then total a$$ at WOT LOL.
I'm not going to lie - now I'm kind of curious as to what it would sound like if I just deleted the two resonators on the stock exhaust, given the incremental power increase on the AMG. Hah.

The popping I'm referring to the are the ones when you hear from this video during downshifts.
For instance, at 3:36, when the RPM drops for shifting. Hope I explained what I'm looking for.
I don't want a new car, but, spend some little money and get the sound.
If mine's a Sport packaged one, I would be much more serious into the exhaust stuff

In all seriousness Raja, you are going to have a tough time turning your 300 HP V6 into anything that sounds like what you are referencing here. You can get the crackling and burble sound, but it will have ricey overtones and not sure that is what you are after.

I'll follow Americans and wait till I'm all settled, and get into a sports car; as I don't have enough money for two cars, as of now.

Ha, no defame and didn't mean that. I love those sounds you are posting as well, and just want to make sure before you go ripping exhaust parts off of your 350 to achieve those noises, what you may be getting into.

Also to put things in perspective for those wondering what the resonator delete and either straight or x looks like. Here you go.
Stock cats, resonators deleted and x pipe installed.

I agree with the sound of the AMG and that is what I'm going for also. It takes along time to find used AMG parts so I thought to start my project I'll buy new downpipes from the MB dealer. My 2014 E550 "front pipes" (aka downpipes) right and left, have the exact same replacement part numbers as the 2014 E63 AMG 5.5l bi-turbo.

I have a set of 2014 E63 AMG mufflers for sale lads.
My own experience with these - so I own a 2011 NA E550 and like you guys wasn’t impressed with the stock exhaust. Ideally I wanted a muffler set from a NA AMG but after months of looking I grew tired and pulled the trigger on a 2014 set.
The fitting was relatively straightforward and the sounded amazing when driving exuberantly however when just cruising at slow speeds I find it too loud. I guess it may be down to the fact that these mufflers are from a turbo car and as such didn’t really muffle the noise too much.
Anyways I decided to revert to my stock set up and will most likely get a meisterschaft valved exhaust in the near future. So for now the mufflers are for sale for any one interested.
