Dumping Fuel? Carbon?

No tune
Recently did a hard pull in S mode and someone noticed that when WOT, black smoke came out as if it was a diesel. Dumped fuel would cause that, but as far as I know, it's not tuned.
Are these cars susceptible to carbon build up?

Mine was doing that for a few days after my tune, especially at WOT... but haven't heard of it happening since then. Not a very helpful response, I know. Was the engine cold at the time?
