5 degree of travel on the steering wheel

2015 E350 sport 18" AMG rims
I just bought this car, I noticed on highway speeds there is 5 degree of travel on the steering wheel that the car does not respond. Making it difficult to control and drive straight.
Is this normal on Mercedes?

Absolutely not. Get your suspension components checked by a reputable alignment shop. You have some wear somewhere.
