Great first post but I can only ask WHY???? Why would you trade an E class for that jun...k, I mean service loaner.

A price would help too.

If you look at the options list, the new C class has lots of options that were originally only on the E class plus a few others that weren't there in 2014. Plus I see lots of base model cars out there with just P1 so a C class with a bunch of options would probably be better than an E with just P1. I used to like driving smaller cars too, they can be a bit more maneuverable. But with the arms race of everyone driving bigger trucks and SUV, I'll stick with the E for now.

OP I hope you've had an extended test drive in the C300. To each his own, but I had one for over a week as a service loaner, heavily optioned version, didn't seem like it was missing anything.

I couldn't stand the size or the powertrain. Too small and sounded like an old Honda when you got on the gas. The power band did not suit me at all. Nor did the cramped quarters. I felt like a Fiat driver masked in Mercedes badging.

But if you've driven one and love it, all the best to you!

2014 E550 4Matic Designo Diamond White and loaded up
"fully loaded". What does that mean?. Leather, Full LED lighting, Dynamic seats with massage, Designo paint and interior, Parktronic, Distronic, Lane keeping Assist, Active Park Assist, Illuminated door sills, Folding rear seats, Keyless Go, Panoramic roof, trunk cargo organizer, etc.
Like that?

Yeah, those are pretty good ones, plus power trunk closer, comfort box, 115 outlet, rear spoiler, heated or sport steering wheel or the AMG 5 spoke alloy wheels and steering wheel. Never actually seen one that was fully loaded. Probably posting the VIN is the easiest way to see what options it has.

I think it would be easier to find an E550 with all those options

power trunk closure is part of the Keyless Go package.

I would consider a car "fully loaded" even if it didn't include the minor accessories that are not hard-coded to COMAND & able to be dealer-installed with very minor hardware changes/alterations, if any, to the physical vehicle (e.g. trunk cargo organizer, 115v outlet, comfort box, and illuminated door sills). With that said, I have a *rare* fully loaded E350, that I waited very patiently to find.

Plus there's a few options like the steering wheel where there's a couple options so it's impossible to have all available options. Anyway, also forgot about the rear entertainment system, that alone is a $1900 option. Too bad they got rid of night vision.

Anyway I think if you add up all the options, it comes to over 18k so it's rare to actually see one. Never actually saw a used one for sale with everything, usually missing a couple items. Probably why it's more likely on an E550 because with 18k worth of options, it would price out at over 70k new and then you mind as well get the E550 where you get a few more options that are standard.

You have the rear entertainment package too? What kind of steering wheel did you get? I think there were several different kinds available.

He probably took a look at the responses and is now getting "loaded" at some bar...
