without changing gear, consult workshop
Hi guys so this is my first post.
So I have an Mercedes E220 diesel from 2015 ( w212) with a 9g automatic transmission.
My car had an accident a while back. After the accident the car was towed with a crane to a workshop because I couldn't get the car into neutral.
So i get this message "without changing gear, consult workshop". Now the shop where I sent the car does body repair and has no diagnostic device so I don't have any specific error codes.
Obliviously the car doesn't start but that's not a problem right now. I just need to get the gear shifting again. I know that the gear and the engine haven't been damaged yet the display doesn't even show what gear is selected.
Is there anyway to bypass this and get the car into neutral manually ?
