Roof Spoiler Stolen

I just purchased a 2011 E350 a week ago and was happy to see it came with a roof spoiler. Earlier this week, someone stole it.

Is there a better way of securing these, rather than having them 'taped' on? I'm hesitant in replacing it if it is so easy to remove.

that's the only way that they are secured to the vehicle. No holes, no hard mounting points, just double sided tape holding it on.. the factory trunk spoilers for most cars are the same way.

Holy crap, I feel sorry for OP as someone disrespected your car. Are these spoilers commonly stolen? Im surprised mine isn't stolen yet...

That stinks, are you sure it didn't fly off vs someone stealing it? Gets a lot of pressure there...I had to remove mine and re tape a few years ago

Someone broke off my mercedes emblem and half of my spoiler at the gym like a year ago.. been driving without it , but thinking about getting a new one in hope that no hater will try to steal it or brake it.
good luck to you OP

You can permanently attach it with Sikaflex urethane. They will break the spoiler before they will successfully remove it in one piece!
