My custom stainless grill
https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...ee6e41beea.jpg My custom grill I stumbled upon this idea on the internet. I ordered a sheet of stainless screen, cut out the plastic screening and installed the stainless in it's place. What do you think? |
I like the ingenuity but not 100% sold on the look. It doesn't look bad, but I can't decide if I like it or not!
As soon as I saw it I thought It resembles the V series front from Cadillac, |
Nice work. I like it! |
Great job looks great. Are you going to replace the lower portion also?
|
good work actually.
it looks more like the new lincolns and the jags..! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincol...IAS_%2716).jpg https://www.autocar.co.uk/sites/auto...?itok=3JdBfca_ |

I actually like shiny metal on our cars, but mostly on black ones.
Steel will not spring like plastic does. Let us know how the mesh resist flying rocks. |
Now match up those lower plastic sections ☺

I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not, but I thought the diamond style grill looked pretty good on our cars so I decided to try something different to get the silver/chrome look. I had an extra grill laying around so this is what I ended up with. I just purchased a new lower section grill and am in the process of seeing how I can fit the stainless screen to that. If it works out I will post some pictures. Thanks for the feedback. |
