Will 20x9s with a 255/30/20 rub on the front of my 2015 e250 Bluetec
I am looking to buy this setup of Ground Force GF06s for my 2015 E-class Bluetec
I am curious if anyone has run similar tire size and had any Rubbing/interference issues? The wheels are staggered - 20"x9" front and 20"x10.5" rear. Mercedes 5x112 bolt pattern with 6"/7.25" backspacing f/r. Toyo Proxes 4 Plus tires are 255/30-20 fronts, 295/25-20 rears. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...f87ac33f2c.jpg Our E Class |

e class on 20" gf06s Here is a pic of the wheels on a similar car. |
In the front I have 20x9.5 offset 46 with 265/30R20 Michelin Pilot Sport's. I have no rubbing on fender, but the inside of the strut tower in maybe 1-2mm away from the tire lip, still no rub though. 275 would probably not fit. I have AirMatic, so maybe the conventional strut design is different with different clearances.
Also, tire profiles make a huge difference, going from one brand to another in the same size will make a big difference for clearance. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...8c96146b79.png |
Thank you! Your car looks great btw!

I’m a fan of multi spoke wheels on the E class. Those look great. |
