Transmission
 

2014 4matic sedan 57K miles transmission feels like it's kicking me . Service adviser says this is normal and catalytic converters need to warm up and this is normal. I think by the model number on transmission I might have one of the transmissions that have problems. Is this normal. Thanks in advance.

What engine?
I have 7G in V6 Bluetec and I4 Bluetec and V6 sure makes the gear changes more noticeable.
What mode you use to drive?
Regardless the above, the main rule is :
- with any troubles start with the basics - when was the transmission last serviced and what was the scope?
OH btw, Welcome to the forum with your 1st post.

Have you done the "transmission reset" ? I forget how to do it exactly but something like pressing gas pedal down for a certain amount of time with the key in a certain position. If you Google it there are instructions. I would do that first and see if it changes at all.
