Check Front Left and Right Parking Lamp warning help

I've done some searching online but now I'm posting since I can't find a fix for this. I have a 2012 E350 and I'm getting the warning to "Check Front Left Parking Lamp" (and my right lamp). I purchased two OEM Mercedes bulbs, put them in but they do not light up and I still get the warning. Yesterday, I took a multi meter and did a continuity test on both pins on both sockets which worked great so they seem to be connected. Anyone have any advice on what else I should look at or test?

Could it possibly be that you have to polarities reversed? I know that's was an issue when I converted mine to LED on my last 3 Mercedes.

Try power cycling your vehicle to reset the SAM.

I tried that but no luck.

How would I do that? Also wouldn't this cause a ton of errors to pop up? Video's I've seen about swapping batteries in this car mention a complete power disconnect causes all sorts of issues

2 Attachment(s)
Reluctant to disconnect battery, check wiring to front SAM underside – corrosion, etc.

Power cycling just involves lights off, crank engine fully on then shut down. Then try the lights.
