My mom didn't have time for trivial stuff like that, survival of the fittest was the game back then. If you're unintelligent enough to do something like that then you don't deserve a tongue :))
Coming back to the bra, the only reason for using one is if you're a blind owner of a MB vehicle and you want to keep the resale value on the higher side.
I'd much rather look at my well chipped front end all day long than give myself nightmares by using the bra thing.

At least your bra has a “sports bra” look to it with that extended section up to the shoulders. Lol

Coming back to the bra,

But I'd rather spend more time turning your crank.

Exactly, needed support for vigorous activities. After a certain age though, only new springs will relieve the front-end sag.

Ahahaha, love it!

Anyone fitted a car bra to their W212/S212 and can you post pics? I've used a Colgan bra on our ML350 for protection from flying rocks and I think it makes the vehicle look better, but the E-class is another matter.

No offense but that bra looks really fugly, your ML looks so much better without it.

Fit for purpose

Recently returned from a short ski holiday and can't say I enjoyed the gravel-covered highways in our national parks. Worst feeling to see that semi-trailer coming towards you with tires in the slush and rock-filled spray showering your lane :-( Because of wildlife issues they won't use salt, but seriously do they need to substitute acorn-sized rocks? At least the bra did its job and is now certified as "fit for purpose".

Oh man! I haven't come down a mountain in years! :(

That snow looks so awesome!

Glad to hear the bra did it's job. Did you use the new cargo box?

Irishman Sr. 12-22-2018 11:59 AM

Clear Bra all the way!

LOL, it's sitting on the bedroom floor. The T-slot adapters just arrived today from Germany.

Soon it will be riding the roof :-) Did a trial fit with the supplied clamps (pictured right) = slightly less than 2cm clearance to the roof. Probably OK with a loaded box, but makes me nervous nevertheless.

The Inno clamps came awful close to the roof on my car as well. The T slots should give you a bit more room.

Gotta update the bra thread

Did a bit of hiking this summer in Yukon Territory then drove the Dempster Highway to Tuktoyaktuk on the Arctic Ocean. Bra good...
