Maybe this will help:

The "B" pillar trim is held on by an extremely strong double-sided tape. Just pull it off from the top (I used a chisel, wrapped in cloth, and inserted it at the top, where the missing plastic piece should go). You will destroy the old trim piece in the process.

The hard part is getting rid of the tape residue - it is REALLY tough stuff, and all of it must be removed or the new piece will not fit properly. I used all kinds of stuff - mainly "Goop-Off" (Goof - Off?) adhesive and glue remover, and fingernail polish remover (acetone).

Just be careful when installing the new piece. It inserts between the door and the window trim at the bottom, and you'll only have one chance to get it right. Position it and get it into place (for practice) before removing the paper that covers the tape on the new piece.

I also read somewhere that if you carefully use a heat gun to release the adhesive you may be able to reinstall the same piece of b-pillar trim. I know you said yours is damaged, but I thought the heat gun idea would make removal easier.

Honestly from wat i saw , it dont look like its held in there by any kind of tape , it is more like a snap on type of thing. Im just not sure about the step sequence on how to correctly remove it.

OK, so which was it? Held on with tape, or clips?

once i moved rubber on the inner side of that b pillar trim , i was able to see 3 screws.
after i removed those screws i was easily able to slide off that piece to the left to take it out.
older models used tape w211 , w220.. but new ones use screws which is much better.

I know this is an older post, but i need to do this with the left front 😅. Im looking at the door, and i cant figure out what are the step by step for this, and im a little afraid to start pilling things off. Is the inner plastic pieces supposed to pop off? How do i pull off the moldings?

Nvm, i just pulled the rubber inside the window trim, and replaced it. Took 10 min
