H7 or D1S
Hi
I have E350, my lights are so weak(highbeam and lowbeam both of them). I want to change them to Philips X-treme Vision(product name is:Philips halogen bulb X-tremeVision) bulbs but I don't know which one is fit and is Philips good for high and low beam?

If your low beams are already xenon then changing them to halogen won't help.
Also usually if you have the xenon lighting package, both low and high beams would be xenon and you'll have little cut outs on the bumper near the lights for the light washer.

Post the VIN, not sure what country you're in. I believe in the US if you have the bixenons, you'd have headlamp washers. I don't see headlamp washers so my guess is that you only have halogens, not bixenons.

I am in Azerbaijan, in here it is hard to find original spare parts. I will order bulbs from abroad, for this reason want to be sure.

Wow, that's pretty amazing, it's a USA spec car too. I guess they exported a used car from the US. Anyway, you don't have bixenons, so they're regular H7 halogen bulbs.

I have tried the x-treme vision, the color is a little whiter then factory halogen, and they are a little bit brighter. But they don't last as long. Probably because they burn hotter. If you use the lights a lot, be prepared to change them often.

Why not get LED replacements. I put H4 LED replacements in my 96 C280 What a great difference from the old yellowish weak halogens. Now, you'll say that I am blinding oncoming cars. Not true. The LED's have a great cut off. No oncoming driver has ever manifested any problem. Just a thought

OK, if we are now sure that you have standard H7 Halogens, then you can safely buy any of the Philips H7 replacements (Philips XtremeVision are fine) and be done with it. If the Lows and Highs each use H7, then it's even easier. If you want whiter light, get the 5000K temperature bulbs.
I just installed Philips DiamondVision H7s in my High beams and they are fine. (My Lows are LEDs)

I'm looking for a decent H7 halogen bulb. Anything that is whiter and brighter than stock which I think is MB branded Osram. Long story but my dealer forgot to order LED lights on a 2019. Anyone try the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra?
