Aftermarket grille installed. How to fix slight hood gap after???
Installed on my 2014 e350 last night lined up perfectly but when shut hood there is a slight gap where I can see the rubber flushing from underneath. |
I'm assuming that on 2014 the grille installs without having to mess with the front bumper? Aftermarket parts for me have always been hit or miss. Sometimes they don't quite duplicate oem parts sizing (or quality). Sometimes they fit well but longer term quality is questionable.

send back and tell them it does not fit.

Hard to tell from your photos what's going on.

Ha, yeah that is my subtle hint.

Can't even comment without pics.

The fix is to put the original grill back in. Cheap chinese parts in a high end German car. Not a good combination.

I have a sport grill from 2011, black with a star in the center......for sale :)
