While I was looking around the dealers in our county to compare to the other service B thread, I found this. Lifetime warranty on main battery and aux battery. Note that the prices are (~$100)more than other dealers with those 2 years warranty. Have to scroll down, right below the car spa packages.

Wonder if anyone of you are able to reproduce this deal from your dealer(price match?). Especially a few complained that their battery only last around 2 years.
Weird thing is that their most expensive service don't include spark plug service.

For that cost, I would stick to Autozone batteries with 3 years and 100$ less than the original price to start with.
But, if you're in market right now, you can try the 150$ off of 300$ or more service coupon could be applied here, bringing down to the 2 year warranty price, which is still expensive, but you get a lifetime warranty.

That price is about 3-4 main batteries which should be about (I figure 5 yrs life as average) Since I have original @ year 5 I buy this and then go 4 batteries so year 20-25 of ownership this breaks even.

What happens if delaership changes ownership or changes terms of lifetime warranty.
What do they charge for the labor? discarding old battery?

Not sure this is worth it.

Thanks, but no thanks. There is no free lunch. Midas has a lifetime warranty on brakes. Are we all rushing over there for our brake jobs??

The small prints still has "other restrictions apply" so my first guess would be that warranty is not transferable and who keeps the car for 10 years?
Just today I bought Bosch battery for $120 with 96 months warranty.
It is flooded as I don't buy BS about need for AGM and I put my Solar tester on it right when I brought it home.
The 1000 CA rated battery delivered 1260 amp. Not bad
We had Varta battery lasting in our ML320 for 13 years btw.
