Newbie E500 W212 4.7 owner and questions...
 

Hello all,

At first, sorry for my english.....

Let me introduce myself as a new E500 w212 2013 4.7 TT owner..., before this i own two ML's 63 amg (08 & 09)...

I hope tomorrow will be enjoying the E500, has 36000 kms.

But i know that almost 100% sure, front Airmatic struts should be replaced.

I can only find them through OEM parts, directly with Mercedes-Benz, can´t find them through Arnott.., etc...

Could you please give me another posibilities??.

I know that one of the posibility could be opt for a Conventional Conversion...., in this caso: Could i opt for any of the coilover from Bilstein, etc, etc.., and only buy the "Light Fix Module", or should i buy the Complete Kit: "Shocks + Light Fix Module"??.

That's rather low mileage for needing new airmatic struts. In the US, they can last for 100k miles or more. I believe you're stuck with MB for the fronts, it's usually just Arnott that makes aftermarket ones. There are companies out there that will rebuild the ones you have though, although you have to send them out and wait for them to come back. Not sure what country you're in so not sure if that's even an option.
