Aftermarket Warranty
Anyone have any good recommendations on aftermarket warranties? I feel like my CLS is going to need it over the next 2-3 years I will be owning it. I find little issues that drive me crazy!

Autopom is a reputable company. I shopped around quite a bit for my 2010 E350 with 40,000 miles. I got. Paramount exclusionary plan (7 years / 100,000 miles) for $3,600. I only drive about 3,000-5,000 miles per year. I plan on having this car a long time.

If you're within the factory warranty still, the MB ELW is your best bet assuming the car is eligible. Otherwise, I've heard good things about Fidelity from service advisors at two MB dealers. I would contact the mechanic you'd likely use (i.e. local MB dealer or indy) and ask them. The service advisors know which warranty companies are easy to deal with.

I just pulled trigger on Edurance. We will see how it plans out. It is about $4,000 over 24 months payments but covers 4 years or 100K, whichever comes first.
Should I have done better? Car has 65K on it or so.

How much do you drive? That gives you a little less than 9k a year in miles. I can't really comment on price as I haven't shopped lately. My Carmax extended warranty was about $3k for 6 years up to 100k miles (50k remaining for me) but that was almost 5 years ago now.

Yes, I work for CarMax so I know their warranty is bad ***!

Yeah, I have no regrets with CarMax. Buying experience was top notch and easy and warranty has been easy to use.
