E350 Window switch buttons
Anyone know how to replace/pop off the driver's side window buttons? I've already purchased replacement buttons since all 4 are already peeling and I hate the way it looks.

No hands on but I would imagine you need to disassemble switch panel here is the underside view.

If you do tear it down, posting pictures of your findings would be hugely appreciated, I'm sure. It's a common problem that frustrates a lot of people. I'm exactly the type that would tear it down to replace the buttons.
Where did you source replacements, if you don't mind me asking? |
If you do not have the clip remover it costs between $200 to $350. There has to be a cheaper way to remove window switch.

Great... at least someone isnt as lazy as me and posted this question.
Waiting on good news |

Where did you source replacements, if you don't mind me asking? No my only problem left is that the buttons I purchased off an Amazon seller didn’t fit even though the product description says it would fit a W212. The button was slightly longer and didn’t seem to engage the Like the OEM button so I returned it. I know the button didn’t fit for a fact because the OEM button snapped right back into place. Im still trying trying to source a cheap OEM version online. I need all four buttons too! |
Interesting, so it's that easy OK who's going to try first.

Just wanted to share my similar-ish experience with peeing / flaking door lock buttons on my W212. Like the video above, stickers are sub-optimal. I bought the door lock assembly with both buttons. After the stealer installed it, I saw the offending but then saw what a single button looked like which makes me think they can be popped-out. However, the door lock button(s) may be held captive in the assembly and not pry-able (they're not pivoting like the window switches noted here). You all could be two-steps ahead of me on this one... |
I've held back on this topic for months, but will chime in now... You guys are really rough on your cars.
All the switchgear looks pristine in my 18 year old C320 and a 4 year old E350. I don't understand how you scratch these up so easily. Fleshy part of a finger to push the button down, and fleshy pad on the finger to reach under and pull them up. How you get fingernails on these parts escapes me. Just my humble opinion.:nix: |

Great information. The left rear window switch doesn't work on my '14 E350. Would someone have access to the Mercedes work instruction for removing it? From what I gather, the rear window switch does not pop out like the driver switch panel, but instead the door panel has to be removed. Is this correct?

So I figured out to how to pry off the buttons after watching a YouTube video for a c-class. If you flick the switch forward as if to open a window you’ll see a tiny slit behind the button. Stick a small flathead screwdriver in there and push down on the screwdriver to pop off the button. Works like a charm, don’t be afraid (like I was, lol).

Hi! So I've seen that video aswell, however will this technique also apply to the passenger door panel buttons aswell? It works for the main driver side panel but what about the single buttons for all the other passenger doors? I have ordered buttons for them.

I ordered them from Ali express.
