19” AMG wheels on a w212 request

Could I see some 19” amg wheels please? I have oem 18” amg wheels and I am wanting to go a little larger. I haven’t been very thrilled by the amg options that I have seen

I've just joined as tried putting some of the W213 19" AMG wheels on mine but they need smaller tyres than the W213 uses and a 5mm spacer at the front for clearance.

I like these. I was hoping to keep 40 series tires up front though.

Looka at the 19 v 18 comparison pics in this thread...https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...uspension.html

IMO, the visual difference is hardly worth the effort. Especially considering the extra need to watch for potholes with 19s.

They're actually 17 vs 19.

I've got to admit I'm leaning towards selling the 19s and getting the 17s refurbished - the ride quality didn't suffer as much as I expected with those 19s on though compared to what I've read.

It may be possible with some suspension combos - mine is the 677 suspension and with these ET43 19x8 alloys the tyre hits the bottom of the spring support - the 19x9 ET49 rears are absolutely fine on my wagon as it's air at the back so no spring supports to get in the way.

Ah. If that's the case, then my point is made.

If there is barely any difference from 17 to 19, then the difference from 18 to 19 is miniscule,. When does anyone have an opportunity to park the cars side-by-side to notice any difference? Any difference is in the mind, genuinely not worth it, as no one else will notice..

Just my opinion, of course, as I am no Wheel ****.

I'm not sure what the roads are like over in the USA these days but I managed to do this to an 18 inch VW wheel here in the UK 7 years ago - all from one pothole - I've got to admit I didn't have to worry about potholes in the Volvo XC90 that I traded in for this E220

Thanks, I bought them off a guy in Toronto who sold his CLS63 with the winter wheels and needed the space back in his garage. Keep an eye on Facebook Marketplace and Craiglist. I paid $2,000 USD and they only had a couple hundred miles on them.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you buy these? I have been looking for these same ones forever now. Thanks!

I bought these from a seller on here who worked at a dealership in Florida. Shipped them up to chicago for me. They are pretty rare and difficult to find in this finish.

I'm looking at buying some of these wheels, staggered from a 2018, no tires, so I would pick 245/35/19 for the front 8 inch rims, and 255/35/19 for the rear 9 inch rims. I'd like to see more pics of these on a W212, especially if anyone has the smaller tires than the stock 40 series from the W213.

@rediesel my second choice, or maybe even my first is to refurbish my wheels just like you did, but they need them for 2 weeks so I'd have to find a cheap spare set with tires for that time. I'm tempted to go to 19s or aftermarket, but I really prefer the look of OEM wheels on a nice car. The refurbish will cost $1200 and I need 2 tires right now, so looking at options.

AFAIK, *all* xxx/40R19 tires will be too large in outer diameter for the 212, or they will be too narrow for the rims, and not have sufficient weight ratings.. the correct sizes for 19" rims are /35 tires.

the standard sizes for non-staggered are 245/40R18 or 245/45R17.
