Switching to 19s

Hi, i have a 2014 E350 with the stock 18s on tires 245/40 R18 18 +48 all around. I want switch 19s, the rims im looking at are 19 +35 with 255/35 R19 all around. Would this set up work? Or will they stick out past the fender?

Who told you a 255 wide tire will fit on the front? Search the site first maybe.

I would do some research before you put those on. How wide are the new wheels? I currently have this setup on my 2014 E350:

8.5Jx19 ET36 (255/40/19)
9.5Jx19 ET43.5 (285/35/19)

No rubbing or anything. PERFECT fitment.

You will be fine. If anything just get 245/35/19 tires so the sidewall is a little bit smaller. If you do the math you might be able to do a 255/35/19 like mine.

I'm running 19x8.5 on my front with +37 offset. I believe my tire is 245/40, I used to run 245/35 but I kept bending my rims so I upsized a bit, I do rub sometimes, but it's rare enough that I don't really care. I never rubbed with 245/35 though.

not sure about the 255 in front, but you might be okay with that offset???

I run 19x8.5 +32 in front and 19x9.5 +39 rear with 245/35 and 285/30 tres and they are really flush. I worried about installing my springs now, but it looks tight...lol
I'll probably be alright with a little extra negative camber, I just don't want to roll the fenders unless absolutely necessary.

The E63 AMG runs s 19x9 ET37 up front with the 255. It also has a wider fender to accommodate the 255 which you do not. Tread with caution

As a former east coaster I stay away from 19's. Too easy to bend rims in potholes or rough roads....just sayin

mine are fully forged one piece monoblock rims so they're little bit more stronger. i've had 3 big hits on them so far and they are still rolling smooth

I have the OEM ones at 17 inch and with 245/45 tires on them. Still got bent rims. And I've also hit some big potholes with no issues. Somewhat the luck of the draw. So far just two bent rims and one blown tire with the 17 in 3 years. The 18 inch rims on my W211 has had 3 cracked rims and two bent rims with several flats that I lost track. I just shake my head when people talk about 19 and 20.

Rally wheels can take a beating, you could look into those if you want to seriously try to prevent bent/cracked rims, they just tend not to look good on a Mercedes

I'm not sure I really trust aftermarket rims, it's so variable on the construction. There were lots of them at the shop where I got my bent rims fixed, most of the ones he had had cracked pieces missing. OEM rims just tend to bend or have a crack in them that can get welded, when the aftermarket ones go, a piece breaks off, which is worse.

I concluded that those are the owners who don't have to work for the money they spend.

Do the 14's have the same front fenders as the previous model years (2010-2012)?

Looks lowered.

NICE! Chunky!
